Inside Charlotte & Tom’s Colorful Wedding in Mexico
Charlotte Heinrich and Tom Freeman, who first met at a dinner party in 2008, became engaged to wed in 2018. “It took Tom eight years and four different countries to finally pop the question,” the at the time New York-based bride tells Vogue.
Two years later, after scouting wedding locations across America’s east and west coasts, the pair married in a colourful wedding hosted at a resort named Costa Careyes, located in Jalisco, Mexico. The wedding venue the pair chose together was Tigre Del Mar, which the bride shares was “a castle owned by the Brignioni family.”
“Prior to the ceremony, Charlotte and Tom invited guests who had already arrived in Mexico to a New Years’s Eve party. The following day, a white beach party took place. “Guests were transported [via] small private boats to a private beach where a Mariachi band greeted them on arrival.”
