Ray and Janny’s Oheka Castle Wedding Day

For their September wedding, Ray and Janny selected the enchanting Oheka Castle, a French chateau-inspired estate in Huntington, New York. “It felt magical to host a European-style wedding right in our hometown,” the bride shares.

For the ceremony, she chose a striking white silk ballgown by Ines Di Santo, featuring a dramatic sweeping train. Her final fitting took place at the designer’s atelier in Canada. “Ines Di Santo’s designs perfectly capture romanticism and femininity,” Janny shares.

A harpist serenaded the guests with “Moon River” as Janny gracefully walked down the aisle in one of Oheka’s immaculately manicured gardens. “Everything else faded into black-and-white—Janny was the only color I could see,” recalls Ray. The ceremony was officiated by their pastor, Drew Hyun of New York’s Hope Church, infusing the moment with heartfelt emotion for the couple, who faithfully attend church every Sunday. During her vows, Janny expressed gratitude to Ray for enduring the pivotal quarantine in Seoul that solidified their bond. “I never envisioned having a wedding before I met Ray,” she shared. “Meeting him changed everything.”

During the morning, Janny spent time on the balcony, overlooking the castle in her custom bridal robe by Lé Lauriér, handcrafted with delicate European lace and ivory pearls. And we just LOVE the peeking through the balcony windows with my bridesmaids, watching the magic unfold as the ceremony setup comes to life. Pure excitement in the air.

One of our favorite parts of the day was when we fit Janny’s beautiful big gown into the vintage car for a quick photoshoot. The circling of Janny in her film from this moment is one of our most loved shots we’ve ever taken.
